Take a Break Respite

(Program)

Provides care and supervision to individuals with a developmental disability and their siblings in Onondaga County. Parents and guardians can use this ongoing respite service for personal, social, recreational, or health care needs. Providers are individually matched with families based on provider experience and family needs. Open to families who do not already have HCBS Waiver or Self-Directed Respite services.


Eligibility: Children with a developmental disability and their families who are eligible through OPWDD and reside in Onondaga County

Application Process: Home visit and family application
