City of Syracuse Community Treatment Court

(Program)

Offers judicially-monitored drug treatment. Eligible defendants who choose to participate in this program are required to appear regularly before the community treatment judge who has the sole authority to confer awards for progress and impose penalties for noncompliance.
 

Eligibility: Defendants must reside in Onondaga County and: - be charged with a nonviolent felony or misdemeanor - be determined to be in need of treatment for a substance abuse problem - have no prior convictions for a violent felony
