Seniors Helping Seniors Northern New York

Provides a variety of non-medical services to seniors who wish to remain in their home. Services are provided primarily by adults over the age of 50. They range from two hours per week to 24 hour care. Services include companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, respite for family or caregivers, grooming/dressing assistance, and transportation.
 

Eligibility: Seniors in need of in-home support or travel assistance

Fees: Private pay or long-term care insurance; varies; call for information

Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties
