Senior Nutrition and Dining In Program

(Program)

Provides a nutritious lunch for individuals 60 years and older along with the opportunity for socialization, recreation, and health information at meal sites throughout Jefferson County. Meals meet one third the recommended daily intake and are prepared with reduced salt. Unable to accommodate special diet requests.

Senior Nutrition Sites (subject to change; call for current locations):

ALEXANDRIA BAY: 
American Legion, 9 Rock Street - Serving Wednesday, 11 AM - 1 PM

CALCIUM:
Community Church, 26816 NY 242 - Serving Tuesday, 11 AM - 1 PM

CHAUMONT:
Copley House, 12030 State Route 12E - Every other Monday, 11 AM - 1 PM

CLAYTON:
Paynter Senior Center, 914 Strawberry Lane - Every Tuesday and Thursday, 11 AM - 1 PM
 

Eligibility: Individuals ages 60 years and older and their caregivers

Application Process: Call ahead for meal reservation

Required Documentation: No documentation required

Fees: Donations requested but optional; no one is turned away for inability to pay
