Parent Education Program (PE)

(Program)

Provides in-home supportive outreach for families who are at risk of losing their children to foster care or are attempting to reunite with their children.  Offers in-home support for a minimum of one hour per week, advocacy for the family, assistance in accessing other services, and parent education workshops.

Eligibility: Families who live in Oswego County, have an open Preventive or Foster Care case with OCDSS, and have children between the ages of birth and 18 years

Application Process: Referrals through Preventative Services at DSS, Hillside, or Liberty Resources
