Emergency Assistance Services

(Program)

Provides assistance with basic needs for individuals or families who have emergency need, including those who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Services provided, as resources permit, include emergency rent payment assistance, local and long distance transit fare, prescription payment assistance, clothing, utility assistance, and information and referral.

Eligibility: Onondaga County residents with demonstrated need
