Marjorie Clere Interpreter Referral Service

(Program)

Facilitates communication between deaf individuals and service providers. Provides sign language or oral interpreters, matching skill level of interpreters with communication mode of deaf persons. Provides opportunities for interpreters to upgrade their skills. Promotes the use of interpreters in the community. Provides advocacy for deaf consumers.

Eligibility: Individuals in need of oral or sign language interpreter within Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, Onondaga, and Oswego counties

Application Process: Call to arrange for interpreter

Required Documentation: None

Fees: No fee to consumers; fee to service providers
