Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)

(Program)

Offers a comprehensive support program dedicated to increasing the number of college graduates from ethnic groups that are traditionally underrepresented in technical-related fields as well as individuals from economically disadvantaged families who are interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, math, engineering, and other licensed professions.

Eligibility: New York State residents who: - are African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native American OR are considered economically disadvantaged by New York State standards - intend to pursue a major/career in science, technology, engineering, or science - will be a full time student - have earned an overall high school average of 78 or above OR possess a college GPA of 2.3 or above

Application Process: Call, walk-in, or go online for application

Required Documentation: Proof of income (for students who are not historically underrepresented), copy of Green Card (for non-citizen, permanent residents)
