Senior Nutrition Services

(Program)

Provides county residents who are age 60, and older, with nutritious meal options as well as nutrition counseling and education. Serves meals up to 5 days a per week at Senior Dining sites and through various Home Delivered Meal providers. Offers nutrition counseling for all eligible participants at any meals site or in the home for home delivered meal recipients. To ensure compliance with federal, state and county regulations, nutrition programs and meal service are monitored by registered dietitians/registered diet technicians to ensure compliance with federal, state and county regulations.

 

Eligibility: Onondaga County residents ages 60 years and older

Application Process: Call PEACE Inc at 315-470-3331 or Jewish Community Center at 315-445-2360; Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP): Vouchers are available in July, first come, first served basis; call 315-435-2362 in late June on availability and pickup locations
