Onondaga County STOP-DWI Program

(Program)

Focuses on law enforcement, prosecution, adjudication (court and probation), rehabilitation treatment, and public information in relation to issues of drinking and driving. Provides speakers and educational materials as well as a Victim Impact Panel. Runs Project Responsibility, an alcohol education class for underage offenders and those charged with providing them alcohol.
 

Eligibility: Victim Impact Panel: Onondaga County residents Project Responsibility: Individuals under the age of 21 years charged with an alcohol offense and anyone charged with either permitting or providing alcohol to a minor

Application Process: To sign up for Victim Impact Panel - call the Prevention Network at 315-471-1359 or visit www.preventionnetworkcny.org; To reserve a seat in a Project Responsibility Class - call Traffic Safety Resource at 315-329-9199 x2

Required Documentation: None

Fees: $35 fee for Victim Impact Panel; $100 to attend Project Responsibility
