Certified Nurse Aide Program

(Program)

Prepares students to assist nursing staff in caring for patients. Program is a stepping stone for students who wish to enroll in an allied health associate degree program; i.e., LPN, RN, OTA.

Eligibility: Adults meeting income requirements who achieve a minimum reading score of 8.0 on the TABE entrance exam

Application Process: Call or go online to apply; must attend a program orientation and interview with program counselor

Required Documentation: Picture ID, proof of income, high school diploma or GED or High School Equivalency Diploma, two professional references, proof of immunization and physical exam; other items may be required, depending on circumstances
