Family Advocacy Program

(Program)

Provides intensive home visiting services for parents who are active with DSS and have children who are identified as at-risk for or placed in foster care. Parent Aides teach basic living and parenting skills in the home setting in addition to connecting families to various community resources and supports.

Eligibility: Families who in Onondaga County involved with Children's Services Department of Social Services, when abuse/neglect has occurred or is at risk of occurring

Application Process: Referral from Onondaga County Department of Social Services

Required Documentation: Documentation of involvement with Children's Services
