Clayton Town Clerk and Tax Receiver

Prepares and collects property taxes for residents of the Town of Clayton from January to March 15th for full payments with interest added in February and March. Paying installment deadlines - 1st installment due by January 31st, 2nd installment due by March 29th, and 3rd installment due by May 31st.
After March 31st all paperwork goes to the Jefferson County Treasurer’s Office.
