Eligibility: Onondaga County residents with a total household income of $60,000 or less who:
- Have income from wages, self-employment, and / or government benefits
- Investment income is less than $3,500
- Do not own rental property
- Did not declare bankruptcy in 2022
- If self-employed, did not have employees or inventory, did not deduct home as an expense, and did not have a business loss
Application Process: Appointment required; call for information
Required Documentation: - Picture ID for client (and spouse if filing jointly) - Social Security Cards and birth dates for everyone being claimed - All income statements (W-2, 1099, 1099-R, Social Security benefits statement and other income sources) - Affordable Care Act statements (Forms 1095-A, B, or C) - 2022 Federal and State returns, if available - Child Tax Credit recipient letter (if received) - Statement from Child Care Provider that includes total paid and provider's tax ID number - Tuition Statement (1098-T) and related expenses from college, vocational, or technical school - Bank account routing numbers or blank check for direct deposit
