Health Insurance Information Counseling Assistance Program (HIICAP)

Provides information for residents 60 years of age or older when they need help understanding the various health insurance options such as Medicare, supplemental insurance policies (Medigap policies), prescription drug plans (Medicare Part D), EPIC and Medicare Advantage plans.
Eligibility: Individuals ages 60 years and older
Application Process: Call for information and services
Required Documentation: Varies; insurance counselor will request as needed
Fees: Donations requested, but optional
