Homeless Housing Program

(Program)

Provides an array of programs to address homelessness in Lewis County. Does not host an emergency shelter.  If shelter emergency occurs after business hours, contact the Lewis County Sheriff at 315-376-3511 and they will contact the Department of Social Services worker assigned.  Worker will provide an assessment of housing needs and make a referral to an appropriate program within the community.

Eligibility: Individuals in Lewis County who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

Application Process: Call or walk-in for information and services

Required Documentation: Documentation of homelessness or housing issue
