STOPPED Program

(Program)

Offers a parental notification system developed to help reduce the number of young drivers involved in traffic accidents. An identification decal is issued and affixed to the windshield of the car, and if the vehicle is stopped when being operated by a driver under the age of 21, the officer will complete a notification card and mail it directly to the parents.

Eligibility: Parents with children under the age of 21 who are operating a motor vehicle
