After-School Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

(Program)

Provides afterschool programs for deaf or hard of hearing children in Kindergarten through 12th grade who communicate using American Sign Language and/or spoken language. Offers activities designed to assist participants with transitions, post-secondary options, and eventual employment. These include enhancing everyday communication, literacy development for both ASL and English, age-appropriate social and daily living skills, team-building, and deaf culture awareness.
 

Eligibility: Deaf or hard of hearing children in Kindergarten through 12th grade
