Onondaga Senior Call-A-Ride Program (OSCAR)

(Program)

Provides public transportation for seniors 60 years of age and older to/from origins and destinations within Onondaga County that are not serviced by Centro's regular route services. Eligible seniors may receive two round-trips, or four one-way trips per month. Service cannot be used for medical transportation if the rider is eligible for Medicaid.

Eligibility: Onondaga County residents ages 60 years and older; if rider is eligible for Medicaid, the service can NOT be used for medical transportation

Application Process: Pre-registration required; call or go online to apply

Required Documentation: Application and proof of age

Fees: Voluntary contributions are accepted, however riders will not be denied service if unable or unwilling to contribute
