Oswego Preventive Services

(Program)

Works with Oswego County families who have youth at risk for possible placement due to issues related to PINS or JD behaviors. Offers casework services to assist families in identifying issues that place children at risk and developing goals to address those concerns. Provides both home-based and school-based counseling services, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referral to other support services in the community.

Eligibility: Oswego County families with a child at risk for placement due to issues related to PINS or JD behaviors that meet the state guideline for Preventive Mandated Services

Application Process: Referral from the Oswego County Department of Social Services
