Person to Person: Citizen Advocacy (PPCA)

Recruits community volunteer advocates for people of all ages who have a developmental disability. Program matches a protégé (a person with a developmental disability) with an advocate (community volunteer) to share their gifts, talents, and friendship. The match is formed by mutual agreement between the advocate and protégé and exists as long as they are both satisfied.
 

Eligibility: Individuals must meet OPWDD eligibility requirements to receive services Contact your local Program Coordinator to learn about the requirements for becoming a community volunteer advocate

Application Process: Appointment required; call or walk in for information
